Carmen

Carmen has a small stand in the center of Oaxaca where she sells her hand crafted earrings, combs, hats, and alebrijes. beautiful, brightly colored traditional Mexican folk art magical creatures. She crafts them out of copal wood and then hand paints them. Her husband inspired her to take a course many years ago at a very famous workshop in Oaxaca which is where she learned to make her crafts. She also has a small millinery where she makes and hand paints her own hats. She loves what she does, and hopes you love her pieces too.
