Valentín has been hand crafting gold filled jewelry for 20 years, a skill he learned from one of his childhood friends. His very first pieces were medals of Our Lady of Guadalupe as well as a few other Saints.
In 2017, at the age of 35, he was finally able to open his own little store. Owning his own business is a dream come true for him, and is the way he provides for his wife and three children. He hopes that one day his children will learn the craft, as his store will bother inheritance.
In his spare time he enjoys watching his favorite soccer team, Chivas.
